Very good; untrimmed; paper label in tact.. Royal 8vo, xxiv, [25] - 516, [38] pp. + 34 plates (some folding). A lovely artifact. Americn medical books of this period rarely turn up in such fresh condition. This is the author's most important monograph. It benefits from being a later edition in that all of the amendments to the intervening editions are included, e.g., the essay on the thigh bone.
