Map includes and identifies rivers, lakes, mountains, state boundaries, several forts, native peoples' lands, bank and ledges off the eastern shore and parts of the country of Canada. What is now the state of Maine, appears as the District of Maine. An area identified as Indiana appears in the western part of the state of Virginia. The state of Vermont appears abbreviated, ending on its western border at Rutland. The northern borders on New Hampshire and Maine extend into Canada. The Connecticut Reserve is shown west of Pennslyvania. West of Lake Ontario, the Township of the Six Nations and a Great Track of Woodland are indentified. An engraved vignette of The Great Falls of Niagara appears in the upper part of the map.
