Hundred year history of the Lakota Club, a private fishing club on what was once known as Luce's Pond in Barnard, Vermont, which grew from a 6-acre tract purchased in 1891 to more than 1,000 acres at its peak. The club now controls more than 800 acres, and Lakota Lake has an area of some 15 acres. The club history was written by Otis L. Guernsey, Jr.; Rhoda Teagle contirbuted an essay entitled "Silence, Solace and Sustenance for the Angler"; the book also includes miscellaneous recollections and a list of members and officers.
