Description
Portland, ME: Bradford Press, 1930. Age toning. Inscribed on title page.. Homewood & Cottages was an Inn and vacation rental cottages located in Yarmouth, Maine, run by Burton Prentiss Lyman. According to the brochure it is situated just eleven miles east of Portland, ME, on the shores on Casco Bay. A converted old homestead serves as the inn's offices, dinning room, and suites. Surrounding the inn are more than a dozen cottages for rent ranging in size from one room to fourteen rooms. The Inn provided a wealth of recreational activities to its guests, such as fishing, swimming (in a pool or at a beach by the bay), golfing, tennis, motor boating, and hiking. The brochure features seventeen (17) printed photographs of the grounds, interiors of the inn and various cottages, and the shoreline. Additionally, there are two black and white illustrations, one large one of the view of the Homewood Inn and Cottages from the bay, and a smaller one of the pool room and dock from the shore. 24 pgs. Dark green printed wrappers. String binding. Measures 8 1/2" x 5 1/2
