He also published a work about Sarah Bernhardt. Around age 50, he began making international voyages, including to the United States. In 1904, he published a book of travel from New York to New Orleans, followed in 1905 by this travelogue from San Francisco to Canada. Octavo. Bound in three-quarter leather with blue and brown marbled paper-covered boards and marbled end papers. Gilt title to spine. Ex-library, with library number at bottom of spine, and evidence of removed label on leather of front board. Rubbing to edges of leather, especially on front joint.
