New York: Charles Scribner's Sons, 1911. First American Edition. First American edition, first printing. Bound in publisher's green cloth elaborately stamped in gilt. Near Fine with slight toning to spine, extremities lightly bumped and small ink spot to lower joint. Bookseller ticket to front pastedown. In a Very Good original dust jacket with price of $1.50 at base of front panel, toned, with extremities frayed and a short closed tear to the top of the upper spine joint, a small spot to the rear panel and a crease to the rear flap. The British novel better known as Peter Pan, scarce in the original dust jacket.

A sharp copy of the December 1902 issue (The "Christmas Number" and only the third issue published) of this magazine devoted to the American home-maker at the turn-of-the-century. Clean and VG to VG+ in its bright pictorial wrappers, with light wear at the base of the spine and very light chipping to a number of the top-edges. A number of Christmas-themed articles as well as articles such as "Talks with Mothers", "Fashions in Jewelry", "Silk Rag Portieres", "The Foe of Home-Making", "Novelties in House Furnishings", etc.
