About very good.
Description
Delano, Ca: Farm Workers Press, 1970. About very good.. Pictorial poster, 22.5 x 17.5 inches. Printed on heavy stock. Heavy chipping and wear to top edge with upper left corner torn away and some closed tears into title; pinholes in corners; minor soiling. A splendid poster featuring Emiliano Zapata, pictured holding a rifle in one hand with his other on his sword. The work was published by Cesar Chavez's Farm Worker Press, which also printed the newspaper El Malcriado. We locate a copy at the University of Michigan, though presumably there are some in other institutional collections as well. A striking piece, likening the struggle of California's farm workers with the Mexican Revolution.
