Engraved frontispiece, plates, and in-text illustrations, 226 pp. Baron Curzon was a diplomat and traveller in the Near East. His journey through Armenia in the 19th century still gives insight into one of the great cultural & political crossroads of the world. A lovely copy of an important book. Binding is likely late 19th century to early 20th century.
