Grosset & Dunlap, 1925. Hardcover. Fine/Near Fine. Full black cloth under black & yellow illustrated dust jacket (same cover design at the first edition by Knopf). Slight wear to DJ at spine ends. Published the same year as The Great Gatsby, and largely dealing with the same smart set & ennui, this one adds some gay intrigue (Van Vechten himself was gay). F. Scott Fitzgerald wrote to Van Vechten that Firecrackers was his favorite of his (VV's) novels.
