London: Hutchinson & Co, 1932. 1st Edition. Hardcover. Fine/Very Good. A "Romance of Love and The Secret Service". 8vo., 318pp. plus Hutchinson's Autumn 1932 48 page catalog in the rear. Beautiful First Edition bound in black cloth with titles and borders in yellow on spine and front board. Square, tight and clean throughout with perhaps just a hint of wear and off-setting to endpapers but remarkably well-preserved. Very attractive and quite uncommon unclipped dust-jacket, (correct 7'6 net on spine panel), has some rubbing to hinges and wear to spine ends and tips. Spoiling to panels and spine mildly toned. Still a solid, complete and pleasing example. A gorgeous collectable copy. (Hubin p.151).
