Folio (13 ¾" x 10 ½"); 5pp; bifold wrapper with one leaf; pictorial wrapper in red and blue, half-screen photographic illustrations with relief decorations in red; purple seller's stamp on bottom of page 3 "Forest Music Store Fall River, Mass."; chipping to edges, creasing to corners, 4" separation at head of fold, 1" separation at foot, fragile fold; good plus. Located 4 in OCLC. A scarce military regimental march with good wrapper color and illustration. David Reeves (1838-1900) was a composer, band leader, and early developer of the American-style musical march. John Phillip Sousa called Reeves the "Father of Band Music in America" and was much impressed with the Second Regiment March. Chesebrough, University of Connecticut.
