Text presented in parallel German and English. Sixty full-color reproductions, many as double spreads, one with additional gatefold. Dustjacket reproduces Kiefer painting. Volume in flecked sand-color laid paper boards with gray-brown lettering on spine and front panel. Autographed Gagosian Gallery "Compliments" card from Bob Monk, one of the gallery's directors, laid in. Jacket clean and crisp with no chips, tears, or marks. Boards bowing a bit at fore-edge, with a light bump to top back edge. Binding is sound and pages unmarked. Published on the occasion of the Kiefer exhibition 24 January-28 February 1998 at the NYC Gagosian Gallery.
