A musical by Ron Miller, Shauneille Perry, and Ken Hirsch, adapted from the play DADDY GOODNESS, by Richard Wright and Louis Sapin.The musical ran into severe trouble while still in tryouts on the road in Philadelphia and Washington, closing without ever getting to Broadway (where it had been scheduled to open on October 25 at the Winter Garden Theatre). Due to the brevity of this play's production, this poster is very scarce.

Publisher's slipcase has top an bottom buckram panels over the letterpress paper-covered boards reproducing the components of the book. There some flaking to the paper at the heel but still fresh and bright with no toning or soiling. LEC newsletter and prospectus present and laid in. Signed by the illustrator, Hogarth, as well as by Freeman Keith, who did the typography, on the limitation page in the rear of the volume. A gorgeous collectable copy at a great price.
