There are glue spots on the pastedowns from where a bookplate has fallen off; there is still a bookplate on the pastedown of Volume III in the style of Aubrey Beardsley, with a name penned at the bottom.~~A massive undertaking, Volume I encompasses “Cats, Wolves and Foxes”; Volume II is “Bears, Coons, Badgers, Skunks, and Weasels”; Volume III is “Hoofed Animals”; Volume IV is “Rodents, Etc.”.
