Cover: No. 2000. 4to (13 3/8" x 10 ¼"); [8]pp; glazed color stiff pictorial wrappers, front and rear; 3 staple binding; 10pp of illustration printed in orange and black, front and rear inside wrapper have illustrated alphabets; light creasing to fore-edge, shelf scuffing to edges; near fine. A child's introduction to the alphabet and reading through a visit to a farm. The illustrations start with "A stands for Ass" and proceeds to "U stands for Urchin, he's called a hedgehog too," and ends with "W stands for Weasel." The letters XY and Z are not illustrated. Lovely simple illustrations.
