Small quarto; in the publisher’s grey cloth binding; xiii, 302 pages including the Index; with black and white photographic illustrations throughout; in an unclipped jacket; some chipping to the edges of the jacket.~~This copy of Zorach’s book on sculpture is accompanies by two “autograph letters signed” by Zorach. Both letters are dates April 25, 1955 and are on Zorach’s personal stationery with his address in Brooklyn. The letters are addressed to a physician in Richmond, Virginia, and discuss the possibility of his purchasing a sculpture by Zorach for his office in Richmond. The letters reference a show Zorach had at the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts. Very Good binding / near Very Good dust jacket.
