Description
First Edition/Stated First Printing in a later state dust jacket with the roman numeral IV to the back panel. A very good book in a very good dust jacket. A clean, bright, and tight copy of this notorious novel that was banned in many cities due to it's obscene language; also considered one of the great novels of the 20th century (The novel was included in Time's "100 Best English-language Novels from 1923 to 2005"). This book is in very good condition with a crisp, tight binding, clean white pages, and bright lettering on the spine; the book does show a mild crimp to the spine foot, some light rubbing to the edges, some faint soiling to the boards, pastedowns, and free papers, and a PO signature to the front free paper, else near fine or better. Housed in a very good dust jacket that is clean and vibrant but does show some light rubbing and creasing to the spine ends, edges, and corners, a mild fading to the spine, and some faint age-spotting to the panels. Overall, a handsome copy that is not remaindered, not price clipped ($6.00 intact), and not ex-library; in archival protection.
