Cat portraits ^[a few] on display at M.M.A. New York until March 31st, part of my large retrospective. Just leaving for coast on "Constellation", hence haste." Son of the famed abolitionist, Garrison Jr. continued in his father's footsteps as both an abolition and suffrage activist. In this letter, Garrison tells his female correspondent that he "will reserve that evening [December 29th] for Wellesley. I wish I could follow the anti-suffrage speaker and take up some of his points, for I am sure he will not attempt to meet mine." An important letter by a key women suffrage ally.
