[New York: Wallerstein Laboratories; [album manufactured by E.B. Michaelman], 1900. Small, post-bound photo album (15 x 18 cm.), [26] leaves. Illustrated with twenty-five original silver gelatin photographs; photographs are captioned in the photos, and the title page is itself a photograph. All photos "slotted-in" to stiff black paper. A photographic survey of "Yeasts and Sediments" associated with beer brewing. The microphotographs include Lager Yeast, Ale Yeast, Budding Yeast, Wild Yeast, Beer Sediment (various types), and more. Photos and post-bound album block are in very good condition; textured black leather is scuffed but sound. Gilt-stamped on the front panel, with the Wallerstein Laboratories name, and with the name of the recipient, "Rupert Berner", brewer. Unrecorded. [OCLC locates no copies].

"Martin Reinheimer a familiar figure in Mount Pleasant and Spring city having been a drug dispenser and proprietor of the Capitol saloon has pulled up stakes and will hereafter run a drug store in Marysvale the coming mining town. Mr. Reinheimer is adept at making friends and will without doubt count them by legion in his new field. Success to you Martin." - Salt Lake Herald (03/27/1892) Charles August Conkling (1854-1944) was born May 12, 1854 in Le Roy, New York to Elias Conkling and his wife. He married Ellen Crecia Terry on August 19, 1887 in Idaho; they had four children together. Conkling was a dentist and rancher, as well as photographer. He operated the Phoenix Photographic Studio in Provo at the Union Block on Center Street. His images are rare.

Lindsley was an archaeologist and Egyptologist from Portland, Oregon, who worked for the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, New York, and was part of the expedition that discovered the tomb of King Tutankhamen in Egypt in 1922-1923.
