Description
England, 1770. Violino primo: 2 pp. Violino secondo: 2 pp. Basso: 2 pp. Quarto (219 x 281). Notated in black ink on 12-staved rastrum-ruled paper. With "Del Sigr. Giovanni Sani Naples" to head of each part. Slightly worn; browned; some showthrough. Apparently unrecorded. An elegant work in the fashionable galant style, composed in three movements: larghetto (2/4), allegro (2/4), and menuetto (3/4). An overture in four parts attributed to Sani is held at the Statens Musiksamlingar, Kungliga Musikaliska Akademiens Biblioteket (RISM ID: 190020504). An attractive work for string trio.

[London]: [Reprinted by Robert Triphook], 1816. Hardcover. Very Good. 30p. Later (20th century?) black cloth. 25 cm. Cover unevenly faded. Outer leaves soiled. This is not specifically identified as the Triphook reprint but the pagination fits and the unsigned two-page Advertisement references Reed's Shakespeare in a footnote.
