Description
1910. Plate impression 212 x170 mm; sheet size 388 x 308 mm. Printed in dark brown on quality ivory wove paper. The composer is depicted head and shoulders turned left with a reproduction of his autograph signature in the plate. Signed by the artist "F. Michl" in pencil at lower right and with "Orig. Radierung" (original etching), most probably in the artist's hand, in pencil to lower right. Small collector's stamp and remnants of mounting paper to verso. In very good untrimmed condition. Michl also made etchings of Brahms and Mahler.
