Description
Eight pages total. Some staining. The first letter mentions his wife being sick and the care she is receiving from neighbors. He says, "the town is surrounded by mines but only one that has yet opened up to work though several more will soon be running. The Silver King which has so much silver is the main stay of the town .." In the second letter he writes "If you should be personally acquainted with J.G. Blaine. I should very much like to have you speak to him about Mr. P.A. Brown who has an application in for appointment as Governor of this territory." Weston was an oil prospector, and his wife is buried in the Pinal, which is now a ghost town.
