New York: The Grafton Press, 1910. Cloth. Very good +. INSCRIBED and SIGNED by the author to his friend Dr. William W. Grumilt (?) in 1914. Limited Edition of 100 copies. 12mo; 51pp; gilt-stamped brown paper over board, white cloth spine; gilt top edge, untrimmed fore-edge and bottom; gift inscription with author signature to ffep; scuffing to corners, light soiling to spine cloth; very good plus. Written by Dr. Francis Watson, a urologist, the play was performed at the Tavern Club in Boston on February 19, 1902. The cast was packed with Boston area physicians, many of who are remembered today for their prominent rolls in medicine. Dr. Harvey Cushing (1869-1939), father of modern neurosurgeon and author, played four of the roles. He won a Pulitzer Prize in 1926 for his biography of William Osler, M.D. Also a players, was Dr. Samuel Langmaid, one of the four founding fathers of Children's Hospital Boston.
