Description
[Berlin]: Eispalast, 1910. Ephemera. [4]pp., wraps. 6.5 x 5 in. Pencil cross-out mark on page [3]. Cabaret Eispalast was an entertainment venue in Berlin, the predecessor to the Scala, one of the most famous cabarets in Berlin (1920-1943). The program lists performers and their acts, which include performances of varieté, satirical dialect lectures, dances, and songs. Bella Kankena, Else Thoma, Trude Walde, Edward Kapp, Rolf Stein, and Curt Winterle are all performers listed. The final act is “La danse des Apaches” by Parisian performers Mademoiselle Jeanette and Monsieur Vallis. With an ad for Carl H. Hintze, a dealer of musical instruments, on the rear.
