Description
Film Weekly. No binding. Just About Fine. [London, ca. 1935]. Vintage original 10 x 8"" (25 x 20 cm.) British black-and-white print still photo, with stamps on back of photographer Otto Dyar and British film magazine Film Weekly. Just about fine. A handsome portrait of Robeson from a period when he was spending much time in the UK, where he shot six films between 1935 and 1940. This portrait may very well have been done in association with Robeson's appearance in King Solomon's Mines (1937).
