Paris: A. Aubry, 1873. One of six copies printed on vellum (of a total edition of 606 copies) of this valuable history of the early art and book collectors of France. Bonnaffé (1825-1903), French scholar and man of letters, wrote many books on art history and the art market as well as catalogues of collections of art. A very fine copy. With the leather bookplate of Isidoro Fernández (1878-1963).

For the moment, at least, no one is sure which direction the Civil Rights movement of the nation will take." 2. Sixth World in Brief (8-1/2" x 34"). "Reaction to the slaying of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr ... Some of it prayerful ... some violent.... Top stories of the hour from United Press International ... URGENT ... Sir Peter Allen (1905-1993) was a noted British industrialist and trained chemist who was part of the team that developed polythene (plastic). In 1969 Allen had just been named Chairman of the Imperial Chemical Industries but more importantly Allen was the author of the guide "Play the Best Courses: Great Golf in the British Isles.
