[New York, New York]: [Allegro?], 2002. Near-fine. Toned with folds, a couple nicks, yellowing to top edge.. A large graphic newspaper supplement issued for New Yorkers to post in their windows in support of the Rent 2002 Campaign. The text reads, "STRONGER RENT LAWS NOW", with a directive at the top that reads, "Please post this in a window where it will be visible from the street on or after Monday, May 13". The Rent 2002 campaign's goal was to persuade local and state government officials to support rent control and stabilization laws. This particular graphic, which is printed in yellow and black with an image of high-rises on the left, has been used in multiple rent control campaigns over the past two decades in New York. It was issued in 2002 for the May issue of "Allegro", and also issued individually by New Yorkers to friends and neighbors. Printed on newsprint in yellow and black, measuring approx. 22.5" by 16.5", verso blank.
