A little-known example of Piet Zwart's work as a book designer, here devoted to the catalogue of the Dutch royal collection of coins and medals. As is typical of Zwart's work, he takes a potentially dull subject and injects it with life through imaginative use of layout and typography. A little wear to the covers, some light foxing to the blank verso of the front and back cover, else fine. Rare with OCLC listing only 2 copies worldwide, both in the Netherlands.
