Reconstructed ruins are promoted in this brochure of the Manitou Cliff-Dwellings "In the beautiful Phantom Cliff Canon, between Manitou and the Garden of the Gods." Also described as "A trip that is different -- entirely unlike anything else in the Pikes Peak Region." The sightseeing trip includes also the Tewa House, the "picturesque" Pueblo Indians and the Manitou Sky- Drive Line. In 1905, more than one hundred rooms of ruins were removed from private lands and replaced in exact replication of the Mesa Verde originals. The museum, hewn from solid rock contains relics of pottery. An attractive and informative brochure with photomechanical images of ancient homes and cultural attractions.
