Leeds: T. W. Green and Co, 1844. Hard Cover. near Very Good binding. [2], [iv], 38, [2], 18, 16, 18, 16, 16, 16, 73 (Volume I is serially paginated, Volume II, through paginated). Relatively uncommon work. This copy bound with most of Volume II (though no title or contents page); all lithographic plates are present as called by Boyne in his bibliography, Yorkshire Library; in the fragment of Volume II there are 73 pages of descriptive text which is the majority of the book (complete in 111 pp.) and a complete collation in terms of the plates for the section present. Boyne also notes that published in parts, “copies of this book are often imperfect.” This copy is complete, thus. Bound in publisher’s cloth backed boards with printed paper spine label; edgeworn and soiled; lovely illuminated title page; contents are clean and binding sound; plates are occasionally foxed, but really quite a nice copy of an uncommon title; (Boyne XX). near Very Good binding.
