Second edition; 7 3/4 x 5; pp. [10], 1-270 + pp. [2] of advertisements; tooled calf over boards; spine with six raised bands; illustrated with engraved headpieces at beginning of chapters; some wear along edges and corners; old repairs to leather along spine, with front starting to separate at the top margin; in about good condition. First written in Latin by German jurist, historian, and philosopher Samuel von Pufendorf (1632 - 1694), the work focused on the divergent forms of worship within Lutheranism, the common ground with the Church of England, and the separation of religious and civil matters. It was translated into English by clergyman, author, and controversialist Theophilus Dorrington (1654 - 1715).

Ermolov; very good or better. Sergei Sartakov was born in 1908 in Omsk and grew up in the Siberian taiga after his family fled his hometown in the turmoil of the Revolution where he was unable to attend public school and was home-schooled by his mother. He began his literary career publishing articles and short stories in various journals. The plots of most of his historical novels and children's adventure stories revolve around Siberia and his unfailing love for the wilderness of Northern Russia and its people.
