Description
Chicago: Bijou Publishing Empire, 1973. Stapled wrappers. Near Fine. Robert Crumb, Jay Kinney, Skip Williamson, Jayzey Lynch et al. An impressive run of the first 8 issues of the "Bijou Funnies", published between 1968-1973 and including Robert Crumb, Jay Kinney, Skip Williamson and Jayzey Lynch as frequent contributors and illustrators. All 8 issues are crisp, bright and easily Near Fine in their stapled, pictorial wrappers, with light creasing along the edges to issue #8 alone. Furthermore, issue #5 is a stated 2nd printing (March, 1971), all of the other issues are 1st printings, with no mention of later printings. The earliest incarnation of "Bijou Funnies", with its wild, anarchic sensibilities suffusing every page.

Description
New York: The Viking Press, 1931. 4th Printing. Hard Cover. Very Good/Fair. 0x0x0. Dr. Seuss (Geisel, Theodore Seuss). 4th printing. Very good in fair jacket. Ink gift note on front endpaper, two large chips from front jacket edge, some loss from jacket spine head and foot, jacket spine faded. 1931 Hard Cover. viii, 89, [3] pp. A collection of humorous errors in phrasing, together with illustrations by the famous Dr. Seuss, though this work was published over five years before the release of his first children's book in 1937. From the foreword: "With the success of Boners, misinformation has finally assumed its rightful place in the American home, relegated the more exact sciences to the dusty cupboards and shelves. The pyorrhean springs of knowledge have dried up; educators have been forced to change their systems of grading ("E" is now Summa cum laude; "A" is once again a scarlet letter)... The Millennium is at hand. Down with Information!
