Bound to style in quarter leather; spine in 6 compartments with raised bands; red leather lettering label, gilt; marbled paper boards. Scarce work on Druids edited by the author's son with added portions by Lescalopier and Cesar Egasse Du Boulay. The "Opvscvla rariora integra itemqve ex aliis excerpta" include Pierre Lescalopier's "Theologia vetervm Gallorvm" and C.E. Du Boulay's "Historia vetervm academiarvm Galliae drvidicarvm" This volume also contains Frick's "Catalogus Scriptorum De Druidis" revised by his son which is one of the earliest bibliographies of books on the Druids. MArginal worming from approx. p. 50 to p. 100, not affecting the text, else a fine copy.
