Contemporary brown morocco, raised bands, gilt-stamped compartments, marbled boards, marbled endleaves; corner bumped. Very good. Informative and beautifully illustrated manual that explains the processes and gives their names, illustrations of the tools, etc., specimens. The date for the title-page is assumed, but based on the fact that the advertising leaf shows a book title with a date of 1893, with all other books on the same ad showing older dates, thus 1893 or later is when this was printed.
