Large 8vo.; in the publisher’s brown cloth binding with titling in gilt to the spine; 276 pages, with frontispiece, plates and maps.~~There are a number of institutional holdings of this book, but it is remarkably scarce in commerce. General Andrews, the author, was the commander of the 2nd Division, 13th ArmyCorps. This is an early but reliable work on the campaign in this area.~~There is a bookseller’s label on the pastedwon which has been defaced; this is unfortunate as the label is in French, which would be interesting. (Dornbusch III,2582). Very Good binding.
