Trade PB (cartoon art) Cartoons about private detectives. The author/cartoonist credits Raymond Chandler and Dashiell Hammett for "special inspiration," and occasionally uses quotes from both as captions or as the basis for his visual gags (single-panel cartoons). The author (per the rear-cover blurb) was a TV writer and stand-up comic; more recent information found online credits him with numerous short stories in the mystery, fantasy, science fiction, and horror genres, as well as his prolific cartooning work. .
