Small spot on back cover. "Our twenty years of experience with Cancer ... demonstrates the Williams Treatment (potential cauterization), in our hands,, based upon these figures, to be far more certain and dependable in its results than are the knife, radium, and x-ray in the treatment of Cancer. Potential cauterization is described in more detail on page 9. This volume contains lots of testmonials. In addition to individual testimonials, pages 94 -132 contain lists organized by State (and provinces in Canada) of "some" of their former patients identified by name and town who could be contacted for for reference about their treatment of cancers by the Williams method. A large orange slip tipped in along the inside of the first interior page announces that Williams Sanatorium had relocated to Hudson, Minnesota (which happened in 1932). Hudson is described as lying 20 miles east of the Twin Cities and situated on the East Bank of the St. Croix River. Hudson was the hometown of Boyd T. Williams. He continued to operate his Sanatorium for the treatment of cancer out of his home in Hudson until about 1947.
