Fine. 16mo. 14 by 7.5 cm. 18, [22] pp. A dozen pages devoted to brief descriptions and promotions of the company's various fertilizer products. Four pages following have little to do with the company or its products directly, but rather provide a war revenue law summary -- the country was then engaged in the Spanish-American War -- and a summary of postal regulations. The 22 unpaginated pages are set aside for Memoranda, with blank ruled lines the only printing below the word "Memorandum". The inside rear cover provides an 1899 calendar, and thus is the basis for our dating of 1898, but the catalogue could have been issued in 1899 conceivable. Some age toning, more pronounced on the early leaves. Otherwise, light wear.

The group, made up entirely of Lorton inmates, performed original works for audiences both inside and outside the prison walls, including at schools, churches, and for government agencies. Unlike conventional theater, Lorton Voices’ approach was deeply personal and focused on raising awareness about the realities of incarceration, challenging stereotypes, and sparking dialogue. The group used music, dance, and original dramatic skits to reflect on their own experiences with drug abuse, crime, and the injustices faced in society. The group's work garnered significant attention, and Rhozier Brown's leadership and talent earned him a presidential pardon on Christmas Day in 1974.
