Blue cloth hardcover with gilt title and reddish illustration on the front cover. Gilt title on the spine. Small scuff, torn spot on the back cover. Light shelf and edge wear to the cloth extremities and back cover. Inscription on the right front flyleaf reads, "Mr. and Mrs. Millard. Presented by the Author's wife, Mrs. N. P. Langford. July 18-1917. Mr Langford was so modest that his picture is almost the last one in the book - page 105." Interior contents are clean.
