One of only a handful of copies signed by all or most of the year's participants, approximately 61 signatures. Toyen was the psudonymn of Marie Cermínová. An active designer within the Devetsil group, Toyen invented Artificialism, a later incarnation of Poetism which stressed the beauty of machines, with Jindrich tyrsky. Also an early member of the Czech/French Surrealist group, Toyen's style evolved over the years to meet the changing demands of the Czech social situation.

The book offered here is a complete facsimile of the text interleaved with a translation and modern explanatory notes discussing problems of ascrption, bibliography, and accounts of medieval astronomy.
