Square, tight and clean throughout with little or no wear save the gentlest of bumping to the spine ends but quite minor. Equally attractive unclipped first state, (laminated), dust-jacket, ($2.00), has a only a hint of a crinkle to the crown. Fresh and bright with no chipping, toning or tears. John Coleman Burroughs designed the jacket, the frontispiece, and 22 chapter head pieces. A stunning collectable copy. (Zeuschner, p.49-50; Currey p.92).
