"Excellent tinted lithographic plates of every American carriage of the day" (Romaine). Founded in the 1850s, G. & D. Cook & Co. quickly became among the most successful northeastern U.S. carriage makers of the pre-Civil War period. Advertised here are nearly their full line of carriages and coaches, ranging in price from $80 for a Skeleton Wagon, to $1200 for the elaborate Hamilton Coach.
