Description: Large colored map (27 1/2" x 17"), map title on map, no date or publication location listed on the map. Paper is somewhat fragile, some browning, aging, and corner staining, two corners chipped away, a few chips and tears, mostly in margins, center split at fold at bottom of the map, repaired with archival tape, two other small tears repaired with archival tape, a couple of other old tape repairs, coloring rather light. Despite the imperfections the image is fairly clean and bright. This is a rather scarce map from a scarce atlas (Atlas of Bergen County New Jersey 1776-1876). It was published during the American Centennial, and while it is somewhat sparsely filled in, the towns and highlights are prominently featured. Will require extra postage.
