Description
Providence, Rhode Island: Salisbury Manufacturing Co. / Bellman Ass'n, 1906. Very good. Minor tarnishing or wear to metal, light dust soiling.. A novelty postcard from 1906, illustrating a handsome young couple on the telephone. The caption reads "A Busy Line", and the central image shows a group of putti perched on the telephone wire connecting the two lovers. Measures approx. 3" by 4" with rounded corners, small hole at head for display, and metal trim around the outside of the card (probably aluminum). Hand addressed in contemporary ink with 1c stamp and May 1906 postmark from Des Moines, Iowa.
