(Blockson 3638). The first U.S. edition of No Name in the Street was published by Dial Press in New York (1972). It was preceded by the first English edition the same year, published by Michael Joseph of London. The essays in No Name in the Street include: Take Me to the Water, To Be Baptized, No Name in the Street, and Sweet Lorraine. (Blockson 3638).

The purpose of offering this series was to enhance the analytical skills of those who attended.
