Dublin: G. Burnet; W. Gilbert, 1799. Hardcover. Very good. 12mo. 7 volumes. Full contemporary marbled calf, spines riled and tooled in gilt, with leather lettering labels, gilt. We note some nicely done early hinge repair, general light hinge and edge wear, else this is a very good set. The France, Germany and Switzerland set is in 2 volumes, and is the fourth edition; Italy is in 3 volumes and is also the fourth edition; The Journal is in 2 volumes and is the first Dublin edition. Moore is considered one of the best travel writers of the late 18th century. His Journal documents his time in revolutionary France, and includes eyewitness account of the royal family's treatment. .
