This boxed set of hardcover books represents his collected works in five volumes: Witiko, Eine Erzählung; Der Nachsommer, Eine Erzählung; Die Mappe meines Urgroßvaters, Studien 1840-1841; Brigitta, Studien 1842-1845; and bunte Steine, Ein Festgeschenk. ___DESCRIPTION: Green cloth shelfbacks with paper-covered boards, each volume with a different small illustration on the front board, the shelfbacks with gilt lettering and publisher's device, each volume with a black-and-white drawing as a frontispiece, each volume with a green ribbon marker; octavo size (8 7/8" by 5 3/4"), pagination: Witco, 621 pp.; Nachsommer, 534 pp.; Die Mappe, 454 pp.; Brigitta, 456 pp.; and Steine, 279 pp. Please note that all text is in German.
