Bound with a forward lean and some reading wear, front hinge a bit weak, soiling at the edges. Steinbeck's humorous novel about the titular location in his Monterey, California, further expanded on in the sequel Sweet Thursday and later adapted into the 1982 film starring Nick Nolte and Debra Winger.
