Description
[SAINT-EXUPERY (Antoine de)] KUNOV´Å (Anna): Mal´y Princ * Le Petit Prince. [Translated from the French by Sylva Danicková.] Prague: Bonaventura, 1991. With colored title-page vignette and 7 colored etchings by Anna Kunovå, all but the title numbered and hand-signed in pencil. Folio, [14]ff; full blue morocco detailed in three dimension on both covers and heavily gilt-stamped, the whole in a protective folding case with circular opening having pictorial lucite on front cover, a fine copy of the book with minor wear on outside case. Presumably the first Czech translation of this children's classic, one of 90 numbered copies (this is # 11). Despite the elaborate and unique binding, neither the binder nor designor of the covers are identified. OCLC locates two copies in the State National Library of Czech and Princeton University.
