Description
Florence: Il Frontespizio, 1929. The first issue of the 1929-1940 Catholic arts and literary periodical, released on May 26, 1929, originally published as part of a bibliographical exhibition held by the Fiorentina Publishing Library. The publication was aimed at long-neglected Catholic intellectuals in Italy, presenting itself as an alternative to avant-garde and fascist cultures. 12 pages. Good or better in blue wrappers, saddle-stapled, with moderate loss and soil to the edges.
